About EMBK

EMBK/STUDIO is a high-performance design partner for fast-moving startups and SaaS brands. We work with funded teams to craft scalable brand systems, stunning Framer websites, and on-demand creative that moves fast and delivers results.

Clients come to us for elite execution. Clean. Smart. No fluff.

Role Overview

We're looking for a multi-disciplinary designer and Framer developer to collaborate on client projects and internal systems. You’ll work alongside our founder (a Framer Expert and Partner) to bring top-tier websites and creative assets to life—from component builds to full client launches.

This is a contract role with the potential to grow into a long-term core team member.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building responsive websites in Framer using our component library

  • Assisting with live projects (new pages, QA fixes, polish)

  • Contributing to internal design systems and micro-interactions

  • Collaborating async using Notion, Loom, and Slack

  • Occasionally helping with light visual/branding design when needed

  • Working across SaaS, tech, wellness, and startup industries

You Might Be a Fit If You...

  • Are Fluent in Framer—not just dragging blocks, but thinking in structure, responsiveness, and states

  • Have strong fundamentals in UI/UX and can handle both design and build

  • Take pride in creating pixel-perfect, fast, modern experiences

  • Know how to self-manage and thrive in async workflows

  • Can think critically and offer ideas, not just execute tasks

  • Have a portfolio of live Framer work (bonus if you’ve built with CMS, animations, or advanced components)

Tools We Use

  • Framer Design/Development

  • Figma

  • Notion

  • Loom

  • Slack

  • AI tools for creative/ops acceleration

Logistics

  • This contract role requires approximately 15–20 hours per week, with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

  • $35–$65/hr CAD based on experience

  • Fully remote, async-first

  • Must have availability during North American hours for occasional syncs

  • Opportunity to evolve into a lead role as our studio expands.

If you're ready to contribute to cutting-edge projects and grow with a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you.
